June 19th, Ocean Patio at 7:00pm Join us for an intimate evening at Jack’s La Jolla with Chef Chris Crary, Wine Director Myres McDougal and special guest, Vintner Jeff Gaffner for amazing cuisine paired with the exceptionally well-crafted Saxon Brown wines. Saxon Brown is a boutique producer based in Sonoma Valley which produces less than 1000 cases per year! Owner/winemaker Jeff Gaffner is a 25 year veteran of the wine industry, although his involvement in grape growing goes back much further. As a second generation Sonoma Valley farmer, Jeff and his family have managed their prized 100 year old Casa Santinamaria Vineyard in Sonoma since 1934. From the unoaked Semillion to single vineyard Pinots and Syrahs to their 100 year old vine Zinfandels, the wines are so pure and meticulously made its hard to pick a favorite! Saxon Brown is a rising star and is making a big splash with wine reviewers, wine lovers and others in the know. Jeff’s wines and the outstanding food at Jack’s La Jolla which have been expertly paired by Chef Crary and Mr. McDougal will make this a night you will not forget!
